The curtain rises on WestK Performing Arts’ inaugural WestK Cabaret Festival, which brings together the best of Broadway, Paris, London’s West End and Asia’s talent to Xiqu Centre in June.
Hong Kong’s cultural calendar just got a whole lot more dazzling. This June, the inaugural WestK Cabaret Festival, presented by WestK Performing Arts, takes over the Xiqu Centre for a nine-day (Saturday, 30 May to Sunday, 7 June 2026) celebration of music, dance, comedy and storytelling that promises to be unlike anything the city has seen before. Gathering some of the world’s most compelling performers – Broadway headliners, Parisian revue veterans, London West End stars and a strong roster of homegrown Hong Kong talent, it is the kind of festival the city has been waiting for. Paradis Latin: Mon Premier Cabaret — Magic of Paris in Hong Kong
Prepare for a Parisian adventure without leaving Hong Kong. Mon Premier Cabaret channels the irresistible spirit of the legendary Paradis Latin – Paris’ oldest cabaret venue, built by Napoleon Bonaparte and restored by Gustave Eiffel – onto the Hong Kong stage. Acclaimed French choreographer Kamel Ouali directs a cast of 18 in a glorious swirl of dance, song, illusion and comedy. It conjures up a burlesque-tinged fantasy world of superheroes, reimagined fairytale characters and musical set pieces that is bound to delight audiences of every age.

Patti LuPone: A Life in Notes — Broadway royalty’s only Asian stop on her world tour
The Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Patti LuPone brings her celebrated show A Life in Notes to Hong Kong, the only Asian stop on her world tour. Accompanied by longtime music director Joseph Thalken on piano and Brad Phillips on strings, LuPone weaves personal anecdotes and razor-sharp wit through songs that have defined her extraordinary life. Expect powerful vocals and an emotional depth that will surely reverberate after the curtain falls.

Bobby Fox: Mr. Entertainment — ‘Jersey Boys’ star makes his Hong Kong debut
Irish-Australian showman Bobby Fox, best known for the smash-hit Australian musical Jersey Boys, makes his Hong Kong premiere with a high-energy evening of tap dancing and storytelling and musical brilliance. Sharing the stage with accomplished pianist Jack Earle and a seven-piece local band, Fox moves effortlessly through jazz and Broadway standards, contemporary hits and Irish folk tunes, tapping heartfelt tributes to Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire.

Crisel & MsLolo: Beyond Fairytales — Timeless appeal of Disney songs
At the heart of this emotionally resonant show is a love letter to the songs that raised us. Nearly 15 years after becoming friends as performers at Hong Kong Disneyland, actress and singer Crisel Consunji and singer MsLolo reunite for an evening that revisits beloved soundtracks from Disney, Broadway and beyond — this time, with the wisdom and hard-won perspective of adulthood. Accompanied by a six-piece live band and the Baumhaus choir, Beyond Fairytales is warm, surprisingly moving, and meant for all of us who still hold on to our inner child.

Alex Lam: 3026 – A Cantopop Odyssey — A journey through time, memory and music
A deeply personal tribute to Cantopop heritage, Alex Lam’s bold new cabaret is one of the festival’s most thrillingly original offerings. Set in the year 3026, as a global alliance of machines prepares to shut humanity down, one family reaches for music as proof of love, legacy and irreplaceable human connection. Lam travels back to the 1980s to rediscover the iconic melodies and cinematic nostalgia of yesteryears. Joined by a five-piece band, the Lunar Antz youth chorus and a tantalising mystery guest, this is a daring journey into how memory and music shape us.
