Bites We Loved This February

Team Sassy Monthly Faves Febraury 2026 Best Things To Eat Buy and Watch matchali matcha pistachio butter banana toast

Matchali — Beloved cafe hotspot serving delicious matcha drinks and bites

We love our fair share of matcha at Team Sassy, and we’re especially interested in culinary creations that feature the green goodness powerhouse! But as a slightly finicky ingredient that requires a plethora of experience in brewing, it can be hard to balance its earthy notes with a complementary pairing — an aspect that can create hit-or-miss creations.  However, Matchali’s Coconut Matcha Pistachio Butter & Banana Toast has got it just right, using sweet banana and creamy coconut matcha pistachio butter on top of lightly toasted sourdough for a delectable aftertaste. You can bet the team will be returning multiple times throughout March!

Matchali, G/F, 12-14 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, Hong Kong, matchali.com

Team Sassy Monthly Faves Febraury 2026 Best Things To Eat Buy and Watch my kitchen tibetan halal momos jordan

MY KITCHEN — Beloved Tibetan neighbourhood eatery serving handmade momos

The phrase “neighbourhood hidden gem” is thrown around a lot when it comes to food, especially in Hong Kong, but there’s (truthfully) no better definition of the phrase than MY KITCHEN. This hole-in-the-wall eatery not only boasts an incredible 4.9 Google rating review, but it also serves as a welcoming and friendly spot for locals and those passing through Jordan. Run by a husband and wife duo, MY KITCHEN’s team handcrafts each dumpling with utmost care that feels (and tastes) like home cooking away from home. Our highlights this month are the steamed chicken momos and the fried beef momos, which are so scrumptious, you’ll feel sad as you start to get full!

Team Sassy Monthly Faves Febraury 2026 Best Things To Eat Buy and Watch haus labs by lady gaga lip monster crayon

Haus Labs By Lady Gaga – Le Monster Lip Crayon

We’re always chasing the perfect matte lip at Team Sassy, so when Queen Veena found the Haus Labs Le Monster Lip Crayon, we knew it was special. Opting for Mahogany Matte, Veena (and our whole team) noticed how much better it looked in person, rather than in pictures! The crayon tip makes for super clean application, lasts for hours, smells great and isn’t desert-level drying (the eternal problem with matte lips). We may or may not already be eyeing a second shade.

Sassy Tip: While the crayon isn’t drying, we do still recommend moisturising your lips beforehand to avoid patchiness.

Haus Labs By Lady Gaga, available to purchase at Sephora or online

Second-hand thrift shopping — Perfect for finding true hidden gems in the unlikeliest of places

Thrifting icon Anna has finally found the boots in the most unexpected of places: a flea market on the side of the road. If this isn’t a sign to skip the malls and shop second-hand, we don’t know what is!

Salvation Army — Once-loved pieces for a charitable cause

Our team has caught the thrifting bug, with Social Media Editor Grace also raving about her latest find! “I found a Nensi Dojaka for Calvin Klein blazer set for $700 with the tags still on!” she gushes. We also love shopping with a conscience, as Grace explains, “I like the fact that they are a charity, so all your purchases and clothing you donate are going back to those in need.” For a sustainable and ethical way to sustain your shopping habits, we love second-hand bargains!

We love a fashion shake-up at Team Sassy, and Nicola Brognano’s debut collection for 7 For All Mankind has Editor Anna absolutely buzzing. Goodgudi Lashes — Glueless sticky lashes that simplify and speed up the daily beat

Asian girlies know how tough it can be find the right mascara to actually keep a curl. And for those of us without the time or funds to maintain lash extensions, falsies might be our only hope — until Partnerships Manager Jowell found the solution! She divulges, “These glueless sticky lashes are a complete game changer! I’ve never been able to master putting on falsies, but these are so easy to use, take less than a minute for each eye, look so natural and the price point isn’t bad either!” We will certainly be adding multiple packs to cart!
