Mora — Elite Signature (Price set by restaurant; Lunch $580 per person; Dinner $888 per person)
Created by award-winning chef Vicky Lau, Mora shines a spotlight on the simple soybean. This one Michelin star restaurant turns this everyday ingredient into amazing dishes using bean sauce, tofu skin, soymilk and fermented beans. Each element adds its own texture, making the food both refined and rooted in tradition.
Menu highlights: Start with the Pure Tofu with Soy Tartlette for a taste of elegance at its simplest, move on to the Mapo Tofu Rice for something comforting, and finish with the silky Tofu Pudding for dessert.
Yurt — Elite: Lunch $248 per person; Dinner $498 per person
When Yurt opened a couple of months ago, it created a buzz that’s far from faded since then. And rightfully so, because the restaurant brings Central Asian flavours — which so far had remained absent from Hong Kong — to the city’s food scene. Now is your chance to try these delicacies without having to buy a flight ticket.
Menu highlight: Baursak and Achichuk to start your journey, then choose Pilaf, Beshbarmaq with Marinated Beef or Dolma, finished with a dessert of Aport or Shelpek.
The Spoon — Category B: Dinner $298 per person
If The Spoon’s positioning as an Italian-meets-Malaysian pasta bar has piqued your interest, then now is the time to whet it — and your appetite. We at Sassy love anything with an Asian twist and this cosy pasta place ticks all the right boxes.
Menu highlight: Pick from the Truffle Mushroom or Pickled Plum Cherry Tomato with Stracciatella for your starter, mains include King Crab Leg Cannelloni or Malay-style Wagyu, all of it super-yum!
Babette — Elite: Dinner $498 per person
Babette takes a lighter approach to French cuisine, one that champions delicate flavours over richness. With its playful menu and boisterous ambience, Babette is proof that French fine dining doesn’t have to be formal to be sophisticated in taste.
Menu highlights: Begin with the Pâté de Campagne (pork terrine paired with sharp Dijon mustard) then move on to the Murray Cod or Confit Short Ribs for the mains, and round it off with a silky Chocolate Mousse.
