Runway Summer 2026 Is Here — And It’s Looking For New Faces

Presented by the Hive Studios Hong Kong, the city’s annual not-for-profit fashion showcase is back for its 13th edition and it welcomes all creatives, models and lifestyle businesses.

Organised in partnership with the Hive Studios Hong Kong, the city’s flexible creative co-working space, Runway Summer 2026 returns on Saturday, 13 June. Now in its 13th edition, it’s a not-for-profit fashion show, marketplace and community celebration that has carved out a genuine space for founder-led brands and independent creatives in Hong Kong’s fashion landscape. With past participants like ABI, Victor Chan Studio, Style Carousel, SHELLVIO and Coozysilk on its growing roster, Runway gives us a glimpse of the breadth and diversity of what Hong Kong’s creative scene actually looks like.

A Platform For The City’s Creatives

For Runway Summer 2026, the team is looking for collections that speak to the season — resort wear, swimwear, linen, athleisure, pieces with cultural inflections and anything that captures the particular heat and energy of summer in Southeast Asia. Fashion students, designers, boutique owners, stylists, thrift curators and circular fashion organisations are all encouraged to apply. Beyond showcasing their creations on the runway, participating designers can gain documented content (such as professional photos and videos) throughout the process, something increasingly valuable for small brands navigating their own marketing.

Beyond the Runway

It’s not just about the clothes. Lifestyle business owners, workshop hosts, guest performers and sponsorship partners across food and beverage, photography, gift bags and decor are equally welcome to get involved. Runway has always been as much a community celebration as it is a fashion event, and the 13th edition is no different.

How To Apply

Designers and collaborators have until Monday, 20 April to submit their applications. Models can apply until Thursday, 23 April, with casting days running on Friday, 24 April and Saturday, 25 April.

13 editions in, Runway Asia has become one of the more meaningful fixtures in Hong Kong’s independent creative calendar, supporting the city’s entrepreneurs and small businesses, and genuinely serving the creative community with the care it deserves.
