This March, Hong Kong Art Month gets a burst of colour as the ‘Henderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market’ makes its Asian debut at Central Harbourfront! From Thursday, 19 to Sunday, 22 March 2026, the waterfront will be transformed into a greenhouse-style pavilion filled with over 150,000 plush flowers — each one a soft, sculptural take on blooms both real and imagined.

Created by Australian hyperrealist artist Cj Hendry, the installation invites visitors to wander through 26 whimsical flower designs, ranging from roses and sunflowers to unexpected surprises. Two exclusive blooms debut in Hong Kong: the ‘Henderson Flower,’ created to mark Henderson Land’s 50th anniversary, and the Bauhinia, inspired by the city’s emblem and the organic curves of The Henderson building.

Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Once inside, guests can choose one complimentary plush flower to take home, or purchase additional ones at $38 each to build their own bouquet.

The Flower Market is designed to be welcoming to all — families, friends and anyone looking for a moment of whimsy during Art Month. It’s also a chance to experience Cj Hendry’s work in person, following her sold-out shows and large-scale installations everywhere from Brooklyn to the Mojave Desert.

Art Month just got more delicious! Central Yards’ very first Edible Art Fair lands at the Central Harbourfront from Thursday, 26 March to Sunday, 5 April 2026, with daily sessions taking place from 10am to 10pm (timed entry slots available every 30 minutes until 9pm). The new fair is exactly what it sounds like: art installations you can literally taste.

Walk through a 20,000sqft purpose-built tent and explore 10 galleries, each inspired by a different art movement. Every single one comes with a bite-sized edible creation made just for the experience — think jelly balloon dogs from a giant claw machine, focaccia hidden inside paper flowers and chocolate bonbons that reveal their secrets when you open the right cabinet. Plus, two Hong Kong icons are creating exclusive installations for the Edible Art Fair!

Visitors are invited to explore the ten-gallery experience at their own pace, with a recommended walkthrough time of one hour. Along the journey, bite-sized delights in each gallery are designed to deepen the connection to the art. Here’s everything you can expect to see and taste at the debut Edible Art Fair:

“Pop It!” — Inspired by Neo-Pop Art Movement
An installation delightfully decorated with reflective bubble shapes in different sizes. A jelly balloon dog confection is retrieved from a giant claw machine that dominates the space. The edible creation, Jelly Dog, is a playful jelly confection shaped like a balloon dog, offered in matcha, black sesame, osmanthus and goji berry flavours, with delicate bounce and gentle sweetness.

“The Magic Makers” — Inspired by Hong Kong Contemporary Art
Featuring the artwork of Angela Yuen, this installation transforms collected found objects into a poetic narrative. Paired with Choc Duck — a silky dark chocolate shell with a fluffy marshmallow centre.

“Roll With It” — Inspired by Modernism
Colour block light boxes and panels fill the space. An attendant serves guests with Fruit Ribbons — thin, tangy fruit strips bursting with natural sweetness. Strawberry balsamic offers jammy and zesty notes, while piña colada blends tropical pineapple with creamy coconut.

“Drip” — Inspired by Expressionism
Floor and walls decorated in expressionist style. A drink experience offers Liquid Palette flavoured drinks through coloured tubes — roselle tea with ruby acidity and cranberry-like brightness, and butterfly pea juice with delicate florals and earthiness.

“Go Bananas!” — Inspired by Conceptual Art
A playful display of replica fruits taped to the wall. Visitors receive a delicious miniature edible Banana taped to a small board.

“Feast Your Eyes” — Inspired by Surrealism
A fully laid table inside a veil of curtains. Visitors put their heads behind the veil to discover the vivid setting. A Tin of edible pearls offers an unexpected Dali-esque surprise.

“Blue-tiful” — Inspired by Optical Illusion Art
An optical illusion focused on perspective, playing with the shape of an egg to form a perfect round shape within an immersive, blue-lit backdrop. Visitors receive an ‘Op-art egg’ — an Eggie in Blue, an egg-shaped puff pastry filled with egg custard.

“Bloomin’ Marvellous” — Inspired by Impressionism
A garden of giant flowers followed by a floral animation gallery. In Bloom focaccia flowers bloom throughout, each delicate paper blossom cradling a piece of focaccia infused with olive oil and rosemary.

“Cabinet of Curiosities” — Inspired by Spatialism
Guests pick a ball from a colourful central display before opening a matching cabinet. Inside, Hidden Gems chocolate bonbons await — glossy chocolates splattered with colour concealing varied fruity, nutty, boozy and spiced centres.

“Frogtopia” — Inspired by New Ink Movement
Featuring the participatory installation by Frog King. Visitors engage with the playful space and taste Froggy Biscuits — savoury parmesan biscuits with umami-rich, buttery flavour.

Located in Gallery 9, the exhibition traces 5,000 years of history across four sections: “The Land of Pharaohs,” “The World of Tutankhamun,” “The Secrets of Saqqara” and “Ancient Egypt and the World.” Highlights from the expansive collection include a colossal statue of Tutankhamun and newly unearthed anthropoid coffins! For the first time ever, global pop culture juggernaut Comic Con is officially touching down in Hong Kong from Friday, 29 May to Sunday, 31 May, 2026. While Hong Kong already has its own local cosplay gathering, this is the real deal — featuring Hollywood heavyweights, major international franchises and even a ‘Superfan Committee’ whose tasked with making sure the event doesn’t feel like a corporate slog.

The debut Hong Kong Comic Con (HKCC) 2026 will take over the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai for three full days of cosplay chaos, promising to be the ultimate meet-up for East meets West geekery. Here’s the daily lowdown:

Friday, 29 May, 2026 – Opening Day (10am to 8pm)
The convention kicks off with the main exhibit hall floor opening, including massive studio displays, artists showing off their work in Artist Alley and the first wave of Main Stage panels where industry folks talk shop about the future of storytelling across screens and pages.

Saturday, 30 May, 2026 – Peak Star Power & Cosplay (10am to 8pm)
This is the main event for celebrity spotting. Confirmed guests so far include Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal, Star Wars), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian) and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future). Afternoon brings the official HKCC Cosplay Competition, judged by pro cosplayers from around the world.

Sunday, 31 May, 2026 – Gaming & Family Day (10am to 7pm)
Comic Con’s last day leans hard into the Gaming Zone and hands-on fan experiences. This is also your final chance to grab photo ops and autographs with the Hollywood guests, capped off with a ‘Closing Celebration’ panel teasing what’s coming in 2027.

Curious what you’ll find inside the convention centre? While full details have yet to be announced, here’s what we’re excited about so far:

Celebrity Guest Zone: A dedicated space for pre-booked pro shots and signings with the stars.
Artist Alley: Where local and international comic artists, illustrators, and indie creators sell original stuff you won’t find anywhere else.
IP Exclusive Marketplace: Limited edition merch and con-exclusive collectibles from major studios.
Gaming Arena: A mix of the latest AAA titles, retro classics and eSports showcases.

Back for its 10th round, Shi Fu Miz Festival is swapping its usual Cheung Chau stomping grounds for something new in 2026: Tai Tong Organic EcoPark in Yuen Long. Same eclectic music mission, fresh outdoor aerna. Think rolling hills, lychee forests and three stages guaranteed to take you out of the typical Hong Kong clubbing experience, featuring rare grooves to techno thumpers.

This year, the festival will run for one day only, on Saturday, 22 March 2026, from 12pm to 2am, with a warm-up party the night before at a club that has yet to be announced. The main event runs all day at the Tai Tong Organic EcoPark — basically, a million-square-foot valley hidden in Yuen Long, about 10 minutes from the town centre. It’s been a family-friendly nature spot since 1994, but for one day only, it’s getting taken over by bass bins, breakbeats and dancing in the dirt.

The park will host three main stages, each with their own vibe:

Feng Shui Stage: House and groove, featuring regional talents and international headliners — Capacity 800

Valley Stage: Genre-fluid and techno-leaning, curated by 0159, the young guns of Hong Kong’s underground — Capacity 800

Dragon Stage: Breakbeat and UK sounds, hosted by local collectives keeping the bass scene weird and wonderful — Capacity 200

Like years past, the Shi Fu Miz 2026 lineup is not one to snuff. Here’s a full breakdown of the headliners and local DJS set to perform:

Hiroko Yamamura (Chicago) – Jackin’ house and techno with serious edge.
Mamie’s (Paris) – Atmosphere-first DJs who know how to throw a party.
Minna-No-Kimochi (Tokyo) – Experimental duo deconstructing 90s trance.
Mr. Ho (HK) b2b Roza Terenzi (Perth) – First time sharing decks, expect rave energy across eras.
Ross From Friends (London) – Bringing his signature warm-yet-weird dancefloor magic.
Rose (California) – Techno with hypnotic, kaleidoscopic heat.
Ruby Savage (Amsterdam) – Soul, jazz, disco, dub and dance.
0159 Collective – Driving HK’s underground with experimental, bass-heavy sounds.
Arthur Yeti (Yeti Out) – 20+ years in the game, bridging East London basement energy.
Fabsabs (Cantomania) – Keeping Cantopop and Cantonese disco alive.
Chaotic Pavilion – Raw, high-energy house and techno.
Feed the Dragon – UK bass collective turned label, pushing garage, breaks and jungle.
Hong Kong Analog Shopping Centre – Preserving analog record culture in a digital world.
OIL Soundsystem – Repping Shenzhen’s iconic venue with a crew of DJ-designers.
S2 – Genre-skipping, film-inspired sets from a four-headed collective.
UMAMI – Breaking down the DJ/audience wall since 2023.
