Henderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market Debuts In Hong Kong
This March, Hong Kong Art Month gets a burst of colour as the ‘Henderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market’ makes its Asian debut at Central Harbourfront! From Thursday, 19 to Sunday, 22 March 2026, the waterfront will be transformed into a greenhouse-style pavilion filled with over 150,000 plush flowers — each one a soft, sculptural take on blooms both real and imagined.
Created by Australian hyperrealist artist Cj Hendry, the installation invites visitors to wander through 26 whimsical flower designs, ranging from roses and sunflowers to unexpected surprises. Two exclusive blooms debut in Hong Kong: the ‘Henderson Flower,’ created to mark Henderson Land’s 50th anniversary, and the Bauhinia, inspired by the city’s emblem and the organic curves of The Henderson building.
Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Once inside, guests can choose one complimentary plush flower to take home, or purchase additional ones at $38 each to build their own bouquet.
The Flower Market is designed to be welcoming to all — families, friends and anyone looking for a moment of whimsy during Art Month. It’s also a chance to experience Cj Hendry’s work in person, following her sold-out shows and large-scale installations everywhere from Brooklyn to the Mojave Desert.
