HKWALLS Street Art Festival Welcomes 11th Edition
HKWalls 2026 returns from Saturday, 21 March to Sunday, 29 March, 2026, transforming the streets of the Central and Western District into an open-air gallery for the 11th year. The festival continues its mission of making art publicly accessible, inviting local and international street artists to revitalise urban surfaces across Sheung Wan, Central, and Sai Ying Pun.
The Festival Hub is located at PMQ (Courtyard & Marketplace, G/F) , open daily from 12pm to 8pm. The hub serves as a central meeting point featuring live painting sessions, workshops and studio artworks and collectibles from participating artists.
Programme highlights this year include:
Murals: A new roster of large-scale murals and smaller hidden works will appear throughout Central’s alleyways. Artists from Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan and Europe will be painting live across the week.
HKWalls Rooms: Returning to PMQ following its successful debut, this initiative provides dedicated spaces for 10 independent artists and galleries to present immersive, experimental indoor installations.
Mural Guided Tours: Guided walking tours offer insight into the neighborhood’s most significant works and the stories behind them.
Digital Integration: Digital street art will be showcased on LED screens throughout the city, bridging physical murals with the digital realm.
Note: A digital map will be available on the HKWalls website closer to the festival date, allowing visitors to locate works throughout the district.
