54th Hong Kong Arts Festival Programme Highlights
The 54th Hong Kong Arts Festival is back to inaugurate Art Month, blanketing the city in a massive, multi-disciplinary celebration from Friday, 27 February to Monday, 30 March, 2026. Taking the crown of Asia’s cultural calendar, this edition features over 45 distinct programmes and 170+ performances, involving upwards of 1,100 international and local artists.
Moving beyond the traditional ‘sit-and-watch’ format, this year’s line-up leans heavily into technological fusion and site-specific wonder. Under the theme ‘Courage, Peace and Resilience,’ the festival turns everything from the Cultural Centre to the Central Harbourfront into stages for world-class talent. Whether you’re a seasoned opera buff or a curious newcomer looking for a high-energy late-night show, the 2026 programme is designed to be both prestigious and accessible.
